I had their Italian chicken toasted sandwich for around £3 and their cappuccinos come for £1.95. They also have £5 meal-deals, such as a sandwich, salad and a hot drink. Good food, and quite good rates. On a sunny day, you’d be well-advised to sit outside and watch quirky Shoreditch life go by.

Falafel sandwich and a hot chocolate set me back £4.45. Their chilli con carne jacket potatoes was just £3.75. Again, outside seating is preferred in good weather. The food is filling, if not perfect.

The food is good, but on the pricey side. I still managed to eat for £5 or under, but I felt the portions of the food did not reflect the price tag. For example, the first time I went there I sampled the chicken fajitas. Taste-wise it was great…but I felt £4.50 was too much for the portion I was served. Similarly, I had the Lati Ri club the next time. That was £4.50 too and the bread size was quite small…I don’t know where everyone else comes from but club sandwiches are supposed to be big! I wouldn’t go back here in a hurry.

I’ve very rarely eaten Thai food and I know people might be surprised but this was the first time I had Pad Thai! Just over £5 for this one; the chicken Pad Thai including service charge was £6.13. I had no complaints here. The Pad Thai was delicious and the salad fresh. Again, people who know me, know that I rarely ever eat my salad. Here, it was all gobbled up. It looks small from outside, but the food definitely packs a punch.

They have a set £5 meal chalkboard. Decent pub food. And that’s all there was to this place!

This is by far the BEST place among all the ones I went to in Shoreditch. THE BEST. At lunch time, there is a line of people outside the tiny place like a long snake. I once bought a sandwich there for £2.50. I was stuffed. Their portions are massive, and flavour excellent. The staff are terribly friendly – and the Italian accents help with the decidedly European deli atmosphere. Next time I went there I had one of their specials…£3.90. The third, £3.30. They do breakfasts as well, and if their amazing lunches are anything to go by, that would be a winner as well.

A lunch meal here is about £4.70, which gives you a sandwich from a selected range, a drink and crisps. I’m well aware I only have photos of their magical cupcakes which set me back only £1.50, but I gobbled the rest up pretty fast. Busy place with average food. Loving their pastry selection!

Absolutely love this place. Friendly staff who offer suggestions and filling and delicious food. A sandwich there cost me £3.20 and a coffee £1.50. The next time I went there, I had a sandwich, hot chocolate and a pastry…£6.50! Superb!
