The Yasmin Mebar effect

What happens when you visit a fellow foodie’s house for a girl’s night in?

Sausage rolls. Zaatar and sweet chilli fatayers. Cheese puffs. Empanadas. Chicken quesadillas with guacamole and sour cream. Spinach puffs. Chocolate tarts. Vanilla tarts with cherries. Alfajores. All home-made.

I call it the Yasmin Mebar effect – the feeling when eat so much delicious food, you think you’re ready to explode in a firecrackin’ display of foodgasm heights, but then your stomach nudges aside a little space to indulge some more.

To know more about the delectable dishes Yasmin, or the Red Panda, dishes out, head over to her blog Red Panda Bakes. Remember, she even takes orders, and I can’t recommend the alfajores highly enough.
