I’d never been interested in types of cheese until I was matched with a French flatmate. To me, cheese meant cheddar and nothing more. Of course, this resulted in my French flatmate gasping at the sacrilege I was committing. She insisted I sample different kinds of cheese and when I protested saying I’d had cheddar before, she scoffed. As if to say: ‘that’s not REAL cheese!’
Anyway, she let us sample camembert cheese and brought some baguettes to have with it, and I LOVED IT.
Absolutely can’t wait for the next time we have a cheese-tasting session 😀
