I’ve met people in Dubai who don’t think very highly of pizza chain restaurants (yes, pizza snobs exist!). However, over here in the UK, I’ve yet to meet someone who hates them.
Pizza Express is one of the amazing pizza joints that serve really good pizza and pasta and that is where I headed off to one cold and icy night in Sheffield last week. What we have here are doughballs (which I’d never had before and were quite nice dipped in melting butter), a classic pepperoni pizza called Americano, and a chicken-based pizza called Il Padrino. And there was also that cheesecake.
I like their service – I’ve always encountered helpful and friendly staff – and their pizzas are quite good too. This particular branch is off the beautiful Devonshire Green in Sheffield, which is always a plus!
