New beginnings with cake


I’d like to start my posts in 2011 with one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Ever.

This is an original cheesecake with macadamia nuts and caramel sauce, which I had from Drink, Shop & Do. Generally, I don’t like caramel sauce, but I was prepared to give it a go this time. As my friend Anna pointed out, the combination of the cheesecake with the gooey caramel and the crunchy, decadent macadamias was absolutely heavenly. Drink, Shop & Do always has to-die-for cakes, but this time, they had outdone themselves. I’m going to go back soon to check if they have it on again – it was stuff cheesecake dreams are made of.

PS – I apologize for just posting one picture. I gobbled it all up quite quickly.
